Villager Cleaned the City Streets

This is a story of a poor villager man, who went to a city for a job. He found a labor job and rented a small house started living. After some days, he had seen that the city is different from a village, there was lots of traffic, pollution and streets were full of garbage and the people of that city were mostly careless and irresponsible regarding cleaning and other matters. No one is performing their responsibility well as a citizen.

Villager noticed that several diseases were spreading and due to lack of cleanness the ratio of patients increasing in hospital. The villager felt unpleasant and uncomfortable in that environment, but he was compelled to stay in that city, because he had no another source of income except working in city. 

After some months he thought an idea that, he intended to clean that area of streets where he lived. So he went to the market and purchased cleaning items like plastic bags, mud catchers, brushes, brooms, gloves and other related things.

He brought all cleaning things to home, and next day he woke up early in the morning around at 5:00 clock. he wore gloves, shoes and a mask and took cleaning items and started to clean the streets of his area.

 He collected all the garbage and kept them in recycle bin. It became Villager’s daily routine that he every day early morning, did cleaning work including repaired leak drainage. He made area the most beautiful area of the city. After finishing the cleaning, villager went towards his work for earning his family.

Residents Of That Area

 Residents of that area were surprised to see that their area day by day being cleaned and looking beautiful. Due to cleaning the people were also being saved from several diseases which were spread by dirt and garbage. Residents of the area also gave statements in the newspaper appreciating the Municipal Committee cleaning work.

Municipal Committee Official Meeting

The Municipal Committee Officials were astonished to listen their performance of cleaning. The officials knew that it was not their performance but they had been appreciated and compliments statements raised in social media, newspapers. They were surprised that why people of that area also praising them. The official held a meeting regarding the cleaned area circumstance. They decided to visit and see the cleaning works, so next day. they visited the area and shocked to see, that area truly most cleaned and no leakage of drainage found and it looked most beautiful. The people of that area also reached nearby them and started appreciating them but the official knew that it was not their performance, they collected the information and went back to their office and reviewed the survey, after that they decided to visit next month to see the condition of cleaning.

On Other Hand Villagers Continue His Cleaning Work

 On the other hand, the Villager was doing cleaning work, the shape of the area looked day by day most beautiful. The villager was planning new idea that how to make the area most beautiful. He went to the market and purchased different flower seeds for plantation and decoration of the area. He bought several flower pots and started to planting almost after one and half months’ beautiful flowers grew up.

He woke up early morning as usual, took several flowers pots and started keeping them in different places of area. The area looked well decorated. when people of the area seen flowers pots. They became surprised and were very happy and again started appreciating the Municipal Committee Effort. Some of the area people had given statement in newspapers and someone given pictures and compliments comments on social media. The officials of the Municipal Committee were surprised that what was being done? they were doing nothing but lot of honors being given to them. On the other hand, the other areas people criticized on Municipal Committee that the official is just given attention only one area. the other areas city full of garbage and no cleanness work is being done. This circumstance created lots of disturbance for the Municipal Committee performance.

Municipal committee official mid night visit of cleaning area

The ongoing situation created lots of disturbances for municipal committee officials. after consultation each other, the official decided to find the persons who’s behind this all work. they woke up whole night to search the persons they have seen that at 4:30 a middle age person came out from a house and holding a dustbin and other cleaning things and started cleaning, around an hour he continuously worked and cleaned and kept all garbage’s in dustbin after that carried the dustbin and threw it main dustbin. The municipal committee employee collected all the information and took lots of pictures and went. the next day the employee submitted the survey report to the higher Authority. After reading the survey of report the authority was decided to call the man at office.

Conversation between official and villager

The villager appeared before a municipal committee official, the official asked him the following question.

Official: Where do you live?

Villager: I live in a small village.

Official: What are you doing here in the city?

Villager: came here for job Official: Why did you clean city streets?

Villager: it is my responsibility because we all are socially responsible to serve our service where required, I noticed that I would take this responsibility of cleaning I have started.

Official: We are proud of you. You are a stranger in this city and belongs to a poor family also uneducated person, but despite of this you are doing a great job. We appreciate you and deserve a gold medal we have decided to conduct a seminar where you would be chief guest of the seminar.

The Municipal Committee administration arranged a big seminar and invited notable personality and also public of the city and kept the seminar name. ‘’Villager Cleaned the City Street “ 

Seminar started the villagers had been seated among the Higher Authority the officials one by one giving speech and praising the villagers. After all speeches last villager had been called for speech.

Villager Speech:

It is a tough and hard job for me to express my point of view in front of such most famed personalities. I am a labor man, belong to a village. I came here to work for my family. When I came to city. I have seen that a city is quite different from a village. City life is too fast and people are in hurry, everyone is busy, No One has time. After some days, I have noticed that my area streets unclean full of garbage and sewerage mostly leaking, overflowing due to several diseases spreading. I have realized that, we all clean our house but we are not cleaning our streets. it is also our duty that we clean our streets as well as we clean our homes because we have to prove that we love our country, because country comes first, if country comes first then our first priority must be our country not our self-home. We all are citizens of a poor country which does not have much resources of income to provide us progressive scheme at this time, and due to this our country several development works remained undone. But we must show responsibility as a nation from today we all take oath that we make our country the cleanest country in the world. The story had created a hug impression among people regarding the advantages of cleaning.
